Wine Country Trattoria

Hey guys, so this is our first post! Let's dig in!  Today we dined at Disney California Adventure Park. We have been to Wine Country Trattoria before and thought it would be great for our first review.

To start, they serve 4 pieces of warm table bread. The bread is absolutely delicious, not to mention it is also free! There are two types of bread to choose from (not sure what kind they are, but they are both tasty).

We like making a dipping sauce for our table bread. A (very) liberal dab of balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, and pepper. All available at your table!

Alexis: For my main dish I had the Broccolini Aglio Olio: "Campanelle, Spaghetti, or Fettucine lightly tossed with Spinach, Arugula, Tomatoes, Garlic, Chili Flakes, and Olive Oil." It is really nice that you get to choose your own type of pasta. I chose fettucine, obviously. I was worried that this pasta would lack in flavor since it had no sauce base, but it was actually very flavorful! Also, the subtle spiciness from the chili flakes gave it an extra kick. It was not dry and the vegetables were all cooked to perfection. The only thing I did not like was the pasta. It seemed dry in some parts like it had been sitting for a while and the parts that were not covered by water dried up. However, I was really hungry and thought it was overall an amazing dish!

Bryan: I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich: "Herbed Chicken Breast with Provolone, Arugula, Roma Tomatoes, and Pesto Aïoli with a Green Salad." The bread was tasty and had great consistency, but more importantly the blend of the cheese, aioli sauce, and the seasoning of the chicken made my taste buds go wild. It was a great combination and I would definitely order it again. The side salad was standard and the dressing had a little tart to it, but nothing amazing.

After we had Ice Cream since it was HOT! All ice cream is delicious...

Thanks for checking out our blog! We will try to post as much as we can!
Have a wonderful day,
B&A
