Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill

Hey Guys,

Disneyland resort in Anaheim has a lot of different food options within both parks, so we decided that today we would try Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill at Disneyland California Adventure. The menu has a decent selection of Mexican inspired dishes ranging from tacos to they're "Ensaladas", which are huge salads loaded with different toppings.

So lets get into the review:

Burrito Sonora - Beef, Chicken or Roasted Vegetables with refried beans, seared peppers and onions, and shredded cheese topped with a traditional Guajillo sauce.

Alexis: The Roasted Veggies were perfectly cooked. They weren't too soft and weren't to crunchy. I thought this combination was going to be a little weird, but it was supper delicious. The red salsa on the burrito was flavorful and went well with the pico de gallo and guacamole.

Veggie Burrito

The only thing that I did not care for was that the burrito was overstuffed with refried beans. It already comes with beans on the side so I felt like it was a bit too much. Needless to say I did not eat any of my beans. the rice was a bit on the hard side, but still tasted good. I would have this burrito again because the veggies were just so good, but I'll probably ask them to put less beans.

Veggie burrito inside

Bryan: Instead of the roasted veggies or beef, I went with chicken instead for my burrito. Although it was pretty filling, I wish I would of picked something else instead of the chicken burrito. Not that it tasted terrible or anything, but I felt the chicken was a a bit bland and too few. Like Alexis said, these burritos have too much beans inside which detract from the other flavors a tad bit. I on the other hand loved the rice and beans on the side. I mixed the sour creme and pico de gallo in with the rice and beans. It was super tasty. Overall, not bad for Disneyland, but I definitely want to try something else next time.

Chicken Burrito - Where the lettuce topping??
